  ccnp-switch question SW793
Posted by: Haywhy - 08-01-2018, 01:16 PM - Forum: Pre-sale Questions - No Replies

I think you might need to take a look at the question mentioned above. This is an excerpt from Cisco site to support the correct answer.

When a port is error disabled, it is effectively shut down and no traffic is sent or received on that port. The port LED is set to the color orange and, when you issue the show interfaces command, the port status shows err-disabled. Here is an example of what an error-disabled port looks like from the command-line interface (CLI) of the switch:

cat6knative#show interfaces gigabitethernet 4/1 status

Port    Name      Status      Vlan      Duplex  Speed Type
Gi4/1              err-disabled 100          full  1000 1000BaseSX

Here is what the practice test chose as the correct answer: show log

CCNA or ICND 1 and 2?
Posted by: dhbanks71 - 12-26-2017, 05:32 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

Hi guys,
I paid for the CCNA how2pass, however the more I take these exam topics, the ore I seem to fall behind with my 60 day window approaching the deadline. Have any of you signed up for the CCNA but then took the ICND 1 exam instead? If so, can you give feedback on the exam topics i need to study?

  Anyone Pass 300-101 recently?
Posted by: dmaron - 12-19-2017, 04:57 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - No Replies

Greetings -

Wanted to know if anyone passed recently.  What their experience was?  In the switch forum, members post detailed info on what they saw.  Hoping that this exam will be as the Switch exam was, with the majority of questions being seen here on H2P.  Thanks for any responses, Happy Holidays!

Passed my CCNA - 200-125 Exam today with a 924
Posted by: barwilliams@cox.net - 12-01-2017, 03:45 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

How2pass is the bomb. I was a little worried at first since I didn't see any current posts of success for CCNA full exam. I was concerned that the material here could possibly be outdated, but after taking the exam today and passing with a 924 out of a possible 1000 I guarantee you, such is not the case! How2pass is on point as usual. I plan on using it for my CCNP as well.

Thanks H2P

  QID: S35 RIPv2 issue
Posted by: bsedgal - 11-01-2017, 07:56 PM - Forum: Answer this question - Replies (1)

The last multiple choice question asks you to examine the R1 routing table and determine how traffic to 10.10.10.0/24 is forwarded.
The correct answer per the simlet is that "Traffic destined to 10.10.10.0/24 ... uses RIPv2 instead of static route [because of the higher admin distance on the static route]"

While its true the static route has a higher admin distance of 200 over RIPv2 (120), HOWEVER the problem is that the network in question is not even known in RIPv2. That why when you look at the routing table, you see that the static route "wins" and has been promoted to the routing table. RIP does not even know about 10.10.10.0 because R2 has failed to advertise it.

From what I can see, all four possible answers given are incorrect. Please advise.

This question is asking about subnet 192.168.10.0 not been able to access the remote network. The output shows it is ospf network configuration. For it to access remote network it is going to need the mac address of the router. This question does not have anything to do with submet 192.168.12.0. I think the ospf process will work in as much it it not using the 192.168.12.0 network according to the question.
The mask on the link is wrong . A /31 will not give two valid host ip to assign to the router interfaces. Changing the mask to a /30 will meet the requirement.

  Question on extended ACLS

I'm having a little difficulty understanding why the operator option shows up sometimes after the source IP and wildcard mask and other times after the destination IP and wildcard mask. What do I look for in the question to know where to assign the option?
