Bug QID: AN153
Posted by: nivaccounts - 10-06-2020, 06:04 PM - Forum: Answer this question - Replies (1)

I believe there is a bug on the scoring of QID: AN153.  The question marks the following as the correct answer:

access-list 100 deny tcp host 172.16.1.33 any eq 22
access-list 100 permit ip any any
line vty 0 15
ip access-group 100 in

However, this is not even the correct command to apply an ACL to a VTY line.  As even the explanation says, you would use the access-class command rather than access-group.  The explanation also breaks down what is the correct answer, the one that applies the ACL to the Gi0/0 interface, which would effectively deny all SSH traffic from the specified host.

If others agree that I am correct in my assessment, hopefully H2P will fix this bug.

Question clarification STP root bridge priority
Posted by: steele84 - 09-10-2020, 03:13 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

I have a question with QID:AN183  on the ccna exam.

The question is simply which switch becomes the root bridge?

I  am give 4 switches, 2 pairs that share the default priority of 32768, and 30000 respectively, and one with a higher mac than the previous.   The issue that I have is bridge priority of 30000 is invalid as it is not a multiple of 4096.  Since this is an invalid priority I went with the switch with 32768, and the lower mac.  This was incorrect stating root bridge election is based on the lowest bridge priority.  I agree with that however 30000 is not a valid priority that can be configured which to me is a red flag, and throws out it as an option.

The clarification that I'm looking for is if we know what cisco's stance on this would be, as this would be a potential gotcha.

Just passed ENARSI with a 941 2nd attempt
Posted by: brando - 08-25-2020, 10:01 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - Replies (6)

Hello Everyone,

I passed ENARSI just now doing the online proctor option which I love. I failed the first attempt July 27, 2020 only 4 days after How2pass made ENARSI available to purchase and study. I mastered every section scoring 100% in every section except 1 which was a 94% within 3 days and on the 4th day I took the real exam and walked into an ambush lol. There were several questions on the exam that I didn't recognize at all from How2pass but I remembered moving forward. With that said, be careful with QID:AR010. It's similar to the question on the exam but how the ask the question has it going over to the other direction to 172.20.40.1 from G0/01. Again if you read how Cisco ask the question on the actual exam and apply the same logic that they used on QID:AR010 and you will be fine.

I believe the reason for my initial failure on July 27, 2020 was that I was exposed to how weak my understanding of BGP and I paid for it. I haven't used BGP since I worked at an ISP 20 years ago.  I watched several tutorials on BGP through www.ine.com which IS NOT A TEST PREP SITE by no means but they do help you with understanding the technologies through their tutorials. When I got finished with the BGP 18 hours worth of tutorials over there I logged back into to How2pass.com and seen they updated the recently modified questions section. Out of the 18 question there; I recognized every question from the real exam before my 2nd attempt which was today. As of right now How2pass ENARSI alone will help you pass the real exam. Make sure you are scoring 100 in every section. All but one question is identical to the real exam and that was QID: AR010 in which I attempted to explain earlier and I really hope I was able to make sense with explanation of the slight difference there. I hope I didn't violate the board rules. I have been using How2pass for 15 years and they have been the sole reason why I obtained my CCNA and CCNP in the past. I let it expire do to my constant overseas travel so my motivation just wasn't there but with all this time at home I wanted to make it worth it and How2pass helped me achieve that success again. Many thanks.

  QID AN129
Posted by: callcenter1 - 08-25-2020, 09:51 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

I'm thinking the answer on this question is incorrect.
The OSPF route has the longest prefix but it's to 192.168.12.0/28 -- that includes network id of 192.168.0 - host addresses 1-14 and broadcast id of 15.
192.168.12.16 is the next subnet. So the correct answer should be the RIP route of 192.168.12.0/27 which includes 32 addresses.

  ENSARI Confusing Question
Posted by: nmist38985 - 08-07-2020, 05:28 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - No Replies

QID:ARX01 - Policy needs to be implemented to allow 172.16.10.0/24

the diagram has no network shown so its hard to know without guessing which router 172.16.10.0/24 originates.

  ENARSI wrong answer to question
Posted by: nmist38985 - 08-05-2020, 03:45 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - Replies (2)

Q3 (QID:AR070)
2 possible answers
configure access-list 1 permit 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.3
configure access-list 1 permit 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.252

sim says first line is correct, i dont know of a 0.0.0.252 wildcard mask, should be 0.0.0.3
