Did not pass the CCNA, have 2 questions
Posted by: 6172crew - 12-31-2009, 02:33 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - Replies (4)

Ok so I how2pass was very helpfull and I thought I passed before getting my 720 :-\.

The NAT question came up and I responded word for word but I don't think it was good enough.  They gave me the same question but the ip addresses were different, I read the rules and didn't see that posting the addresses cant be posted but if Im wrong please feel free to edit or delete my post. I am  mod on another forum and understand.

So the Private were 192.168.123.65-194

The Public was 198.18.47.161-166

I wasn't given anything but the name of the router which was Munford.

So...

access list 2 permit 192.168.123.64 0.0.0.30
ip nat pool list 2 198.18.47.161 198.18.123.166 netmask 255.255.255.248
ip nat inside source list 2 pool munford overload

the inside and outside interfaces were done already so I just saved my info with the copy run start.

Now my question is do I use munford? should I have used "cisco"? The other NAT deals Ive seen had the inside pool as the public addresses and the outside as the 192....

The reason I asked was the message of: Implement, verify and troubleshoot NAT and ACL in a medium sized Enterprise branch office, which I would think was the NAT sim.

Im sure I turned and the interfaces and saved my config if asked.

The only question I did not know (in my mind) was a question about Rapid PVST, Im not even sure I have heard of that one but I think I can find it using a search engine.

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
Is it necessary to learn dhcp configuration for simulation type of questions.??
And configuring router using SDM ?? someone told me that "configure it using SDM" type of questions do not come in CCNA exams.

  NAT LAB #7
Posted by: flintlock - 12-17-2009, 07:13 PM - Forum: Answer this question - Replies (1)

How2Pass Network is going to provide Internet access to all hosts in its LAN without changing the IP addresses configured on its internal hosts and servers. The company has 14 hosts that need access to the Internet simultaneously. The hosts have been assigned private addresses space in the range of 192.168.58.17 ? 192.168.58.30.

My question is - if the address range is indeed supposed to be 192.168.58.17 - 192.168.58.30, then why is the command in the NAT SIM LAB:

access-list 2 permit 192.168.58.16 0.0.0.15

I would think it would instead be 192.168.58.17?

Passed 642-812 BCMSN on 12/16/2009 with score of 978/1000
Posted by: TC10284 - 12-17-2009, 06:30 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - Replies (1)

I've been using How2Pass for over a year now for each of my Cisco exams. This time I purchased and studied the 642-812 BCMSN section of questions from How2Pass. I studied for about 4 weeks or more, each day. Today I took the real exam. Some of the questions I had not seen before, but the majority I had. I passed with a 978 of 1000! How2Pass never disappoints and I have not failed yet using How2Pass! Thanks How2Pass!

Passed the BSCI today - 12/15/09
Posted by: DnLeP - 12-15-2009, 11:17 PM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - No Replies

WOW - I failed the BSCI miserably last week and took it again today, a day before my CCNA was going to expire.  Thank god I past the exam with an 845.  If it were not for How2Pass, I probably would have failed again.  This exam is certainly not easy, but How2Pass really gets you totally prepared for the exam based on the Testlits, Sims and Drag and Drop.  This training is totally realistic in format and look and feel compared to the actual exam.  I felt very relaxed and comfortable today as I knew exactly what to expect.  My hat goes off to the team at How2Pass.  Thank you for the amazing cram session since last Wednesday.

Thank you again and Happy Holidays.

  Exam simulation
Posted by: hsk12 - 12-12-2009, 10:53 PM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Can anyone please let me know if a 'copy run start' is required for the simulation questions in the exam. You all might know that if you don't copy run-config to start-config on H2P, then you answer is marked as incorrect. For example, if one configures OSPF in the sim questions, then a 'copy run start' is required, otherwise the question is marked as incorrect.

Thanks in advance.
