Exam experience 350-401 - ionemoney - 07-29-2025 Just passed the Exam Today! There are 6 Sims and 54 questions. One of the Sims asked to create a flow exporter and I failed that one as I got stuck with the syntax and the dash in between words that CLI was not accepting so after spending about 10 mins I decided to skip to next one...I still do not know what the issue was after getting home and searching.... I also got stuck on a VRF Sim that for some reason I could not ping from one router to the other using the tunnel...I was able to ping from one PC though.... Pretty much the others are very similar to the ones on how2. The questions I got around 70 percent similar to the ones here. Overall. it is quiet intense and covers lots of topics. I wanted to say Thank you to How2 for helping to prepareĀ for it. I think this will be my last time I try re-certify with Cisco as It is becoming more complex and irrelevant to what actually a Network Eng. daily work is...... Thanks for everything and good luck to the others! RE: Exam experience 350-401 - telthenipper - 08-01-2025 Congrats on your pass. Could you advise which sets of questions you mainly studied? 1.0, 1.1 or both? TIA Terry RE: Exam experience 350-401 - ionemoney - 08-01-2025 Thanks! I have been going over the second set only for the past two months; However, I did see a few questions not on either sets. In my case most questions were from the second....I'd say 75 percent RE: Exam experience 350-401 - telthenipper - 08-04-2025 Thanks for that, so would you say it's worth also study the question from 1.0 as well as 1.1? TIA Tel RE: Exam experience 350-401 - ionemoney - 08-06-2025 (08-04-2025, 10:25 PM)telthenipper Wrote: Thanks for that, so would you say it's worth also study the question from 1.0 as well as 1.1? I'd say that depending on your timeframe for the test, if you are planning to go in about a month or maybe two, I'd prepare by 1.1 80 percent...and keep going back to 1.0 here and there to keep it close.... Now, if you are a few months out, then go with Ver 1.1 fully.....the questions set change as the time passes and there might be new ones coming up. To be honest I think that even when the exam is a lot more extensive now with six sims and 54 questions, I noticed it is more forgiving and perhaps they have a new way of measuring the passing score. I honestly lost it totally with a Sim asking to create a flow exporter and although I know how it works, it got me in the syntax and so I skipped that one, there was another sim where I try testing pinging using a VRF tunnel and did not work, I went back to config and noticed on Int admin down and so I turned back up but still nothing.....then I tried from one PC all the way up and it worked, then I did a path trace and sh route...and moved to the next ones... another Sim I think I forgot to verify at the end..not sure if it gave me credits or not...the next ones were very similar to the ones here, maybe a change in IP or protocol in question...that's all......I also failed a few questions for real...maybe 4 that I did not know the answer(maybe I got lucky guessing ![]() I shall say that I did spend about 8 months on this Cisco crap...lol...I took some free CE courses from cisco.....used some free training that my work offer...not too much related but helpful on the SDN and API thing....used CML...watched videos, How2...memorized...memorized..how2...practiced.......lol...be positive you should be good with how2....good luck |
