  lab 6
Posted by: mick - 01-12-2012, 12:44 AM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - No Replies

hi- there is something about lab 6 i don't understand.

the requirement says:

all other traffic should go through EoMPLS link.

but in the explanation of the config. at the end it says:

traffic that does not match any of the given match conditions... is routed normally through destination based routing.

it seems like this means the remaining traffic could go through either mpls or frame relay.

I want to thanks how2pass for making my CCNA 640-802 exam easy. Questions were quite similar and these 2 months
of preparing for test were quite well spent. I would strong recomend this site for my friends

I believe the answer to this should be "The wildcard masks for 10.x.x.x networks are incorrect".

I think this because the wildcard masks are 255.255.255.255, which means it only includes interfaces with address that matches 10.0.0.0 EXACTLY.  Also, I don't see enough information in the topology to determine if the areas are configured incorrectly or not.

Thanks,
Brad

  QID:RTE235 and QID:RTE234 Possible Errors

In both questions listed above, the crypto map matches interesting traffic on access-list 102. Access-list 102 matches GRE, ISAKMP and ESP traffic.

Now I can understand matching GRE so that the GRE traffic is punted through IPSEC, but surely the the ISAKMP and ESP matches shouldn't be in here?

  Passed ICND 2
Posted by: robertrm3 - 12-20-2011, 05:55 PM - Forum: Exam Experience - Replies (4)

Passed with a 930.  The questions in the test prep are very close to the actual exam.  Make sure and read the explanations for each question to understand to topic.  Had 2 testlets, one frame relay and one router ospf. Had one switch simulation to configure vtp client and domain and vlan IP address and default gateway.

  Passed ICND1!
Posted by: Hondabuff - 12-15-2011, 04:49 PM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

Passed the ICND1 this morning with a 937/1000 Missing only 3 questions out of 50. I was in and out of the test center in under 30 minutes.

Study material was the following.
1) CBT Nugget CCENT/CCNA, you must have some ICND2 material under your belt to truly understand the ICND1 questions.
2) Todd Lammle Sybex CCENT. World class and covers all material. I hate "HATE" the Cisco Press books. Did I mention Hate!
3) CCENT for dummies by Glen E. Clarke. Don't laugh, this is an excellent book and covers some items that Todd doesn't. Vlans/ACL
4) Packet Tracer is all you need. I do have a Cisco Academy at the School where I work but honestly, if you don't know how to plug in a Serial Cable or a Cat5 then you might want to choose a different career.
5) How2pass.com Membership. Knowing what I know now  Wink I would pay $200.00 for the knowledge in this test engine.

I was scoring a 100% on all chapter tests from the Sybex CCENT and scoring 96% and higher on How2pass final exam. I took it over 20 times with 50 to 60 questions. You will have no problem passing the real exam.

Passed ICND1 today. 3rd try. My advice, Pass it the first time. It gets harder.
Posted by: bigd5x - 12-14-2011, 02:19 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - Replies (1)

1. My advice would be to anyone studying for the CCNA, ICND1 or 2, is to make sure you have good updated material. Such as How2Pass.
2. Trust me, you want to pass it on the first try because for some reason the questions seem easier. I had outdated study material (Eh-ehm Troy-Tec and Simsem) Good material, just not up to date. It's obvious, Cisco tracks you. I saw none of the questions I had on my first test, and only a hand full of the same questions from the 2nd time the failed the test. Alot of new Drag-N-Drop question I've never seen before and a few other questions that came from the moon seems like. I couldn't have done it without this program.

  passed 642-902 yesterday

I passed the 642-902 test yesterday, all I can say is this sight helped out tremendously. When it comes to the labs make sure you do your show commands to find the information you need, the labs are similar but the some of the values change.

  ICND2 Failure
Posted by: qualitytym - 11-27-2011, 02:07 AM - Forum: Exam Experience - No Replies

Third time close but no cigar. I get the same VTP sim every time. One of the questions is asking me for a default gateway on one of the VLAN's, but the test DOESN'T show the table with the gateways that I see on practice test! No show command reveals a way to determine which gateway for wich vlan from the switch. WHAT AM I MISSING? Any successful takers remember this?

Posted by: sasanus - 11-25-2011, 10:30 AM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

just passed the ICND 2, exam. wanted to let you know that there is a SIM on VTP configuration which was not part of practice ones. anyway you got to set the new switch to CLIENT mode and also set the DOMAIN PASSWORD to the same password on the SERVER SWITCH, which is the 2nd switch on the map.
