My jaw dropped when I saw the score result.  I have never been so prepared for a test.  Given the hype, and being warned so much about the difficulty of these test, I was absolutely thrilled and well, disappointed given the experience.

Well on to 640-816.

I have never been so happy with 40 dollars spent.  ( If I didnt know better i'd say the exam questions taken here were similar to the real test) the familiarity, style, and experience right down the simulators.  Really was incredible.

I re-certified my CCNP last friday, I passed the BSCI. Make sure you understand how things work and not just memorize the questions, if you understand how the protocols work you will beable to answer any question Cisco throws your way. good luck to anyone going for the CCNP.

I am 100% sure that its the feasable distance which is installed into the routing table and not the advertised distance.  Please follow the link to Lammle's book on the CCNA where he explains this matter.  You have the advertised distance as being installed into the routing table which is incorrect.

I have two routers with T1 dsu/csu interfaces.I have them cabled and am getting a carrier detect green led light on both.My question is how do you configure a T1 dsu/csu interface on these routers to get them to talk ?
Any thoughts ?

I think that "Use two way route distribution when the is one path" is also an acceptable answer.  You will not get routing loops in such cases.  Could someone correct me if I am wrong.

I looked at the explanation but i see a problem.  It says that a path to 200.200.200.4 exists but I do not see anything in the figure that would suggest that.  What I do see is a directly connected interface in the 20.20.20.0/24 network.  I think that either the question is incorrect to the ip address on interface serial2/0 is a typo.  Can someone please let me know if there is something there showing that there is a route to 200.200.200.4 in the routing table or explain things a little better than the explanation given.

I have a couple of problems with this question. 

Lets look at the answers and the problems with each:
*RTA and neighbor 192.168.45.2 are exchanging LSA's
    192.168.4.2 is in 2-WAY state with RTA meaning that they are not going to
*RTA is the BDR
    The DR and BDR both must establish a Full adjacency with all routers on the segment.  If RTA was the BDR, it should have established a Full adjacency with the DROTHER 192.168.45.2.
*RTA is directly connected to the interface 192.168.45.1
    You can see clearly from the diagram that the routers are directly connected on the 10.0.0.0 network.  It is likely that the 192.168.45.0 addresses are loopback addresses that make establish the RID.  That is unless the RID was set explicitly.  BTW Neighbor ID = RID of other Router.
*Neighbor 192.168.45.1 has changed its OSPF priority number
    This is also wrong because the router has a priority of 1 which is the default.

RTA will never send updates about its local LAN since RTA is configured as:

RTA(config-router)#passive-interface e0 (IT WILL NOT SEND LOCAL LAN)

I Passed the 640-802 exam last week on my first attempt, scored 1000.

I used the Wendell Odom books, along with a lab I put together at home and of course H2P.

The home lab I used consists of

2 X 2610
1 X 2520
1 X 2521
3 X 2900
2 X 2950

I also have 2 X Pix 501's but these are not needed for the exam.

One thing i found exceptionally useful was to use my home lab and design differing networks using EIGRP, OSPF or RIP with redundant links and VLANS, connected to the internet through my home broadband connection.

H2P was also an invaluable tool, helping asses my weaknesses in order to improve on them.

The exam was quite difficult and I started to stress a little when I had 2 simulations in succession, but I found it useful to stop for 30 seconds, take a couple of breaths, then carry on.
